Billy Payne tour in Ireland

Billy  arrived  in  Belfast  on  the  29th  October  2017  and  on  the  31st  October  did  a  promo  video  up  at  stewarts  music  store  in  irish  street  dungannon. the  video  can  be  seen  o0n  the  sharpe  music  facebook  page.  the  next  day  billy  and  myself  and  two  other  people  went  to  the  armagh  city  hotel  in  armagh  for  his  appearance  on  the  phil  mack  international  country  show. it  was  held  over  3  nights  and  billy  did  the  first  night  there  was  about  12  to  15  other  artists  on  and  each  did  3  songs  billy  sang  I  wanna  be  a  hillbilly  followed  by  good  hearted  woman  and  finally  the  hottest  thing  in  town.  the  place  just  loved  him, about  20  people  from  malta  who  attended  the  show  wanted  autographs, pictures  and  just  shake  his  hand.  at  breakfast  the  following  day  the  same  thing  people  coming  to  talk  to  him  and  chatting  away.

the  next  thing  after  armagh  was  a  guest  appearance  at  a  charity  event  a  local  church  in  the  town  of  comber  was  running  billy  did  it  as  a  favour  and  did  3  songs. he  went  down  very  well  at  that. everyone  loved  him  no  matter  were  he  went. he  did  a  radio  interview  for  dundalk  fm  radio  in  southern  Ireland  on  the  Monday  after  phil  macks  show  and  met  up  with  a  dj  from  a  radio  station  in  newry  we  had  coffee  in  the  Europa  hotel  in  Belfast.  on  the  9th  November  to  do  an  interview  with  lisa  Johnston  on  Belfast  89 fm  radio. one  thing  I  forgot  on  Friday  3rd  November  billy  did  a  30  minute  tv  interview  for  NVTV  in  Belfast  it  was  an  interview  with  3  songs.

it  can  be  seen  on  facebook  billy  posted  it  there,  the  radio  stations  and  tv  station  want  him  back  next  year, already  Keltic  country  have  expressed  interest  for  their  radio  and  tv  shows, tommy  rosney  in  Donegal  in  southern  Ireland  wants  him  there  for  the  same  reason. while  at  armagh  billy  met  sarah  jory  the  steel  guitar  player  and  her  husband  they  said  they  would  try  get  some  bookings  as  well.  over  the  past  few  years  I  have  tried  getting  billy  some  airplay  and  have  a  few  uk  radio  shows  playing  his  music, I  also  have  radio  in  Germany, Norway, Holland, Sweden, Denmark  and  just  recently  a  guy  from  barcalona  spain  not  sure  if  I  spelt  that  right  asked  for  a  cd  of  billy. so  i'm  trying  to  get  billy  on  festivals  and  do  gigs  in  small  venues  too  but  to  make  it  worth  his  while  he  would  need  lots  of  them.
